Bloom & Wild Birchtree with Birch Box|| Review*

 Bloom & Wild are a flower delivery company who create beautiful bouquets that are delivered straight to your door. I've ordered from them a few times now, especially for gifts, and can confirm that their delivery is amazing. The flowers come in long, thin, brown boxes that clearly state they can be posted through most letter boxes.
For the festive season, Bloom & Wild have teamed up with BirchBox to create the 'Birch tree' which is essentially a mini Christmas tree with 5 deluxe beauty sample products. The tiny tree is £30* and is the most amazing present for any beauty lover. You simply open the packaging, present your tree on your desk, bed side table, windowsill (anywhere you like) and then decorate it with your beauty baubles! What more could you ask for!? This would make a perfect early Christmas present or would look lovely as a surprise for Christmas morning. I also really like the idea of having this delivered in between Christmas and /New Year as an extra gift!

There's a great selection of products with the Birchtree - there isn't anything in this collaboration that can be seen as the 'filler' product. You can tell that each product has been carefully thought out and included for a reason. Firstly, Benefit's Porefessional is a brilliant addition. Most people are familiar with this product and it seems like a cult beauty item. This primer is perfect for keeping Christmas party makeup in place. Lord & Berry have also joined the mix with a bright red lipstick in the shade Vouge which again is a must have for a Christmas Party. Moving on to skincare and we have the Caudalie Instant Detox Mask which claims to deeply cleanse the skin and minimize pores. I haven't tried this mask but Caudalie is such a lovely brand so I'm looking forward to trying this. I also love that it's aimed at most skin types which means the majority of people will get on with this mask. For bodycare we have the Rituals Body Cream in organic rice milk and cherry blossom. Again, I haven't tried this but it's a nice way of getting to try products that you wouldn't necessarily try. Finally there is a deluxe perfume sample of Givenchy Live Irresistible which smells incredible. The size is super generous - you have to be careful where you place it as it can weigh the tree down!

Bloom & Wild have very kindly given my readers 20% off their first order using the code: STYLE

Colour Pop || Haul and Swatches

Colour Pop has been slowly taking over the blogging world. It's been big in America for quite a while but now they have started shipping intentionally which has seen a huge increase in sales in the UK. I have seen countless hauls and everything seems to be so good so obviously I had to join in!Colour Pop || Haul and Swatches
I put my order in when Colour Pop were holding a free international shipping promo. I'm pretty glad I did because I had to pay just over £15 in customs charges when this arrived. I will admit though that this whole haul costs around £30 and *spoiler alert* I love the products.

I went a bit crazy on the lipsticks, they are my thing and I love trying new ones. I picked up the Lippie Pencil in Lumiere ($5) I've seen lots of people ordering this. It's a lovely mauve pink which was createdby Kathleen Lights. To go alongside this I also picked up the Lippie Stix in Lumiere ($5) which is a perfect match for the lip liner. The colour is exactly what I go for so I'm hoping they are long lasting and nice on the lips. I also picked up 4 of the Ultra Matte Lips ($6) in the shades Trap, Beeper, Privacy Please and Zipper Again, these are ridiculously popular so I couldn't resist. They have some many nude shades but I managed to trim it down to just 2 and then decided on 2 brighter more purpley shades. I've only tried Zipper so far but it's incredibly - it lasts so long on the lips. I cleansed my face and lips and woke up with a purple tint still on my lips!

I then decided to dabble in the eyes and face products but I didn't go too crazy. I picked up 2 eye shadows and 1 highligter although I could have bought way more. The two eyeshadows I picked up were Stereo and La La ($5), one is a beautiful copper colour that really makes blue eyes pop and the other is a brown, gold shimmery colour. They are so creamy and blend like a dream, I've only used La La so far but I can tell these will become everyday staples. Moving on to highlighter and I picked up the shade Lunch Money ($8). This was the most expensive thing in my haul and it's really lovely. A white, champagne colour that kind of looks subtle on the skin but it's also definitely noticeable. Just like the eyeshadows, it's seriously creamy and pigmented. I'll definitely be looking at purchasing more of these!

His & Hers Facials || Products and Review

His & Hers Facials || Products and Review

His & Hers Facials || Products and Review
Now that Winter has arrived there's nothing better than finishing work, coming home and getting in your pjs and then relaxing for the night. Luckily both my boyfriend and I are into skincare so we've managed to incorporate skin care and relaxing into our 'date night'. We each get our favourite products and then take turns to give each other the perfect facials.
For men, my boyfriend is into Kiehls. He has oily blemish prone skin and the Facial Fuel range is really helping balance out his skin. I start with the Facial Fuel Energizing Facial Wash, massage it into the face and then rinse with hot water and a muslin cloth. When the skin is dry I use the Facial Fuel Energizing Scrub focusing mainly around the nose and chin. I then tone the skin with the Lush Tea Tree Toner Water, sometimes I do this step with a cotton pad or I'll spray it onto the skin. Next up I use Maskimizer by Origins (reviewed here) to make the mask stick to the skin and applied the Bull Dog Oil Control Face Mask everywhere. It comes out very liquidy but dries into a thick clay after 10 minutes. Each step is removed with hot water and a muslin cloth before the final step which is massaging the Facial Fuel Energizing Moisturiser all over the skin.
Moving on to my skincare and I have several more products but each step is vitally important obviously! It's a very similar routine to the one above but I have dry skin rather than oily skin so the products are very different. I start by having my makeup removed with the Elemis Balancing Lime Blossom Cleanser (reviewed here), this step happens twice to make sure my skin is squeaky clean. Next up, when the first is clean and dry I exfoliate with Elemis Skin Buff which is my favourite product ever - it does such a good job! The Body Shop Seaweed Toner is the next step in the routine, this feels really nice after the exfoliation. To make sure the mask does the best job it can I used Origins Maskimizer and then add the Origins Drink Up Intensive Mask. The winter makes my skin so dehydrated so I'm all about the moisture. Hydraluron always makes an appearance in the winter, hydration is key. The moisturiser of choice is Sunday Riley Good Genes (hauled here) and then Sunday Riley Luna Oil is the final step!

Zoella Book Club || Review

Zoella Book Club || Review

Zoella Book Club || Review
I am a massive book worm and have recently started doing Book reviews on my blog (here and here) so when I learnt that Zoella was doing a second round of her book club with WHSmith then I knew i'd have to join in. I bought the full bundle online for £34.99 (this is for a limited time only, full price is £63.92). I had already read (and funnily enough reviewed here) The One We Fell In Love With by Paige Toon but I'd read it on my Kindle so it didn't hurt to buy the hard copy too.
Since I received the set, I've currently read 3 of the books; The One We Fell In Love With, Frozen Charlotte and If I Was Your Girl. The thing I love about the book club is that I'm reading books I would never normally read. I'm more of a chick lit girl, with an easy plot line and romance that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Frozen Charlotte by Alex Bell is definitely not my typical genre but I really loved it. It was full of twists and turns and I never felt like I knew what was going to happen. It was thoroughly engaging and also a little creepy. If I Was Your Girl by Meredith Russo is about a girl who used to be a boy. Again, I don't tend to choose books that focus on serious topics but this was super eye opening. The transgender element wasn't the be all and end all of the book so it was actually easy to relate to Amanda, the main character.
I am currently reading Lying About Last Summer by Sue Wallman but haven't got far enough into it to do a full review yet. The cover and blurb reminds me slightly of We Were Liars by Emily Lockhart which featured in Zoe's previous Book club and I really loved that. My next read will be Finding Audrey by Sophie Kinsella. I really like her normal adult fiction so I'm sure I'll fall in love with her YA fiction too. This one seems right up my street but with a little something extra so I'm looking forward to reading this. A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness is probably the one i'm least looking forward to reading but that's only because I'm sure it's going to make me cry so hard! I think it is about a child whose mother has cancer and about his journey through it. I Was Here by Gayle Forman again is a book that I think will move me emotionally but I really enjoyed If I Stay so I'm sure this will be just as good. Finally is The Twelve Days of Dash & Lily by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan which is a real Christmassy book. I'm saving this one for the Christmas holidays but I'm excited nonetheless. The authors have written other books together, both of which I have watched the films but not actually read the books so if I enjoy this then they will be added to the last too!
