Lush Haul & Review

Lush Haul & Review

Lush Haul & Review
Oh dear, it happened again! I saw a Lush shop, went inside and happened to spend a bit of money! I have to admit, I am loving their products recently and not just the Bath Bombs either (although they are pretty special). This time I went for more body care bits, you can see my recent bath bomb haul here though.
King of Skin (£5.95) is something I wanted in my last visit but unfortunately it had sold out. It's a solid body butter that you use in the shower. I use my shower gel, rinse it off, rub this all over and then wait a few minutes before rinsing it off. It leaves my skin hydrated, moisturised and super soft. It smells very natural and is a good one to use before bed. I picked up another shower product which I've never tried before - Snowman Shower Jelly (£3.95). This smells insane, it really is lovely. It feels like jelly and is basically a hybrid between a soap and a shower gel. It is a snowman shaped jelly substance that you either lather up in your hands or rub all over to generate a lather. It's super slippy but a really lovely product.
Following on from King of Skin, I picked up another body conditioner this time in the familiar Christmas scent. Snow Fairy (£7.95) is a pink, shimmery body conditioner that again is applied in the shower. I like to use this after I've used Snow Fairy Shower Gel as it really locks in the candy floss smell. Keeping with the snow fairyish scent, I picked up Sugar Plum Fairy Lip Scrub (£4.95). I love these scrubs, they do such a good job of exfoliating the lips. Now the weather is getting colder, I find it really helps to look after your lips; there's nothing worse than sore lips in the cold weather.
Finally, I picked up the Baked Alaska Soap (£3.25 per 100g). I've never tried a soap from Lush before but this one is just too pretty. It's all out multi-coloured and smells very zesty, I've been reading tips on how best to store and use the soaps so I'm looking forward to giving it a try.
