Ah my first Tom Ford perfume, isn't it beautiful!?Now I'm going to start this review slightly controversial and say I'm not a massive fan of Tom Ford scents. I just find them too woody or manly and none of them really suit me until now. Orchid Soleil is part of the Black Orchid range but on me it doesn't smell familar to the Orchid family.
The packaging is similar, the standard Orchid bottle but this time it has been dipped in Rose Gold which makes it look 100% instagrammable. The 30ml is the perfect size for travelling and retails for £54. I managed to pick mine up in Sephora (you can see the haul here) whilst on holiday but it didn't actually work out any cheaper.
The scent reminds me of sun and bronze skin, it lasts all day and night on the skin. Every time I wear it I always get compliments, it smells beyond anything I've worn before. The top notes are Bigarade, Pink Peppercorn and Fresh Cypress definitely not notes you would assume would smell delicious but trust me they do.
If you're not a big Tom Ford scent fan like me then I definitely think you should give it a whirl, it's definitely much more grown up and sophisticated yet womanly and seductive. It kind of reminds me of YSL Black Opium, it just lasts longer on the skin.
