Origins Mix & Mask British Beauty Blogger Box Review
So this box is probably one of the biggest beauty bargains in the industry. It cost a grand total of £20 with free delivery - yes that was £20! I've had my eye on the Origins Maskimizer for a while but never got round to purchasing it so when I saw it in this box it made a lot of sense to just buy this; considering the Maskimizer is full size and originally it costs £18.50! Which means that the rest of the box cost me £1.50!! This was another fantastic collaboration from Latest in Beauty (you can see more LiB reviews here and here) and British Beauty Blogger Jane and unfortunately it is now sold out but I still wanted to review the products for you.
I've used some of the masks before and some are new discoveries for me. Since buying this box, I've used the Maskimizer several times and I think it does a really good job of letting the mask sink into the skin. It feels cooling and refreshing and is a nice extra step to a pamper session. The three pod masks are from their most popular masks Out of Trouble, Clear Improvement and Drink Up. I have reviewed these here when I received the trio as a Christmas present, these minis are perfect to take travelling.
You also get a bigger Drink Up mask which is an essential for me in the winter as my skin gets very dry. The Ginzing Peel Off mask is a new addition to the Origins collection and I am yet to try it. It's a copper colour and you peel it off the skin, what more could you ask for. Another travel size mask is the Original Skin Retexturizing Mask which I have used once. It does a good job of perking up dull skin, it has tiny little exfoliation beads in and feels lovely when you're wiping it off. It dries similar to the Charcoal mask, one where you don't want to talk or laugh in case you crack your mask!
I've mentioned the Maskimizer already but trust me, it's a good one. The Origins By All Greens Cleansing Mask is another product I haven't used yet. It is a self activating foaming mask that is perfect for a skin detox, I think i'm going to try this this weekend. Finally is the VitaZing SPF 15 Moisturiser which again, I am yet to try. It is good for all skin types and is supposed to leave you with a nice glow that looks like you've been on holiday for a week. I cannot wait to try it!
