Morning Skincare Routine

Step One// Merumaya Luxury Facial Wash (£16.50)*
Time is short in the morning so the last thing I want is to spend time messing around with a cleanser and a muslin cloth. My makeup has been taken off the night before so I think a facial wash is perfect for mornings! This one from Merumaya is perfect for the job, it's fresh, clean and leaves the face refreshed and ready for a full face of makeup.

Step Two// Elemis Soothing Apricot Toner (£22.50)/Merumaya Gentle Exfoliating Toner (reviewed here)
I love a toner, some people think they are pointless and that may be so but I thoroughly enjoy the feeling on my skin. It's refreshing and soothing and makes my face feel fresh and ready for the day. I've also noticed since i've been switching between the two my face is definitely less dry.

Step Three// Hydraluron Moisture Jelly (£24.99)
My skin is going through a dehydrated phase and this is my saviour product. Some people choose to use this at night but I like that it hydrates my skin throughout the day and it tends to my dry patches whilst i'm out and about. It's clear, scentless and feels quite tacky but quickly settles in. It doesn't leave me greasy or oily at all.

Step Four// Origins Ginzing Moisturiser (£24.00)
To work alongside the Hydraluron I love this moisturiser from Origins. The smell is delicious, it's so refreshing in a morning! I think this step is essential because in the words of Caroline Hirons Hydraluron needs a moisturiser to release its full potential.

  1. I used to use the Hydraluron Moisture Jelly but never found it made a difference for some reason but I never thought of using it alongside another moisturiser - this could be the magic trick. I too love the feeling of clean skin after using a toner.

    1. Definitely try it with a moisturiser, I used to think exactly the same!xo
