Let's just start by saying I was #feelingspendy for this haul! My boyfriend and I decided to have a night away for Valentines (you can see my makeup look for the night here) in Sheffield which meant a trip to Meadowhall! Firstly, I headed to Debenhams to get my brows waxed and tinted by Benefit - there will be a post all about that to follow and unfortunately, the Benefit counter is right opposite the Mac counter!
I'd already written a list which had 2 Mac products on, I bought both and then had to return for the last item. I knew I wanted to pick up another bottle of Mac Studio Fix Foundation (£22) this was my first high end foundation and I always loved it (I featured it in my Foundation Collection post). I hadn't used it in over a year and recently really wanted to try it again. I also picked up a Retro Matte Liquid Lipstick in the shade Recollection (£21), I did want a nude shade but because they were sold out I decided to go all out and pick the most vibrant colour out of the whole selection! I've wanted to try these for so long so i'm pleased I managed to get one. The product I went back for was the Viva Glam Arian Grande lipglass (£14.50), I saw Fleur De Force use this and really loved how it looked over a nude lip. I also love the fact all the proceeds go towards the AIDS Foundation.
Moving on to Kiko and I just picked up a couple of bits. I like Kiko but I feel myself getting overwhelmed with how much stock they have that I can never really go crazy. I went for a Colour Click lipstick in the shade Realistic Mauve (£6.90) and the matching lipliner (£4.90). They are both really pigmented and pretty long lasting. I applied them at around 9:00am, ate and drank in them and by 4:00pm they had pretty much vanished from the lips which I think is pretty good. The lip liner is super creamy and easy to apply, it doesn't drag the lips thankfully. The lipstick is also creamy and hydrating, it gives a kind of cream sheen finish. The packaging is also intensely satisfying!
