L'oreal Elvive Extraordinary Clay Range

L'oreal Elvive Extraordinary Clay Range

L'oreal Elvive Extraordinary Clay Range
I first saw the L'oreal Elvive Extraordinary Clay range on Instagram and knew it had to be mine. This ticks all the boxes of what I need in hair care. Because I have balayage hair, my ends are bleached which has left them dry and dehydrated whereas my roots are often oily and greasy, this is a nightmare because I tend to have to wash my hair every other day which strips the oiliness but dries the ends out even more.
I'll talk about the products in order so the first step is the Clay Masque (£5.99) which is a pre shampoo treatment. You apply this to the roots and leave it for around 5 minutes, whilst rinsing this off in the shower use this time to massage your roots (this helps to stimulate hair growth)! This has a thick jelly like consistency which can be quite messy but it's totally worth it.
Next up is the Anti-Dandruff Shampoo (£3.99), I can't express how happy I am that a brand has released a specific shampoo but also thought about people with dry, flaky scalps! I've suffered with dandruff all my life but it has recently got a lot worse due to stress at work so i'm praying this really works. The conditioner (£3.99) isn't anti-dandruff but I don't tend to apply conditioner to my scalp anyway. They are both silicone free and have combined 3 refined clays and Piroctone-O which should rebalance your hair leaving it balanced and beautiful. The shampoo lathers up more than any other shampoo I've ever used which makes it really feel like it's working. The scent for all 3 products is really nice and I think the packaging and the colour look extra nice in your bathroom.
So, does it work? Once I'd washed it and the day after my hair felt so soft, softer than it's ever felt before. Literally like I'd just stepped out of the hairdressers. There wasn't any visible dandruff and my scalp was less itchy than normal.
They are currently on offer for £10 when you buy all 3 products at Boots.

  1. I am very tempted to try this range ! If I didn't have about 20 spare shampoo and conditioners stocked up I probably would ;) lol
