When I first saw that Rosie Huntington Whitley was releasing a makeup range I was a little excited. Her underwear range for Marks and Spencers is lovely so I had high expectations for the Rosie for Autograph range - they did not disappoing. Okay, let's start with packaging! I'm instantly drawn to the rose gold packaging but I can't help but think it looks very similar to that of Charlotte Tilbury. That being said, it is beautiful after all. It's sturdy, travel friendly and has the satisfying magnetic click that is often associated with high end makeup.
That brings me to my next point, Rosie for Autograph Makeup is by no means 'cheap'. A lipstick comes in at just £1.50 less than a Mac lipstick and an Eyeshadow quad is £18 - pretty pricey considering it can be brought in your local Marks and Spencers. So is it worth it I hear you ask!? I picked up a lipstick in Silk Cami (£14) and a cream eyeshadow stick in Movie Star Crush (12.50) - at the time of buying there was an offer if you bought 2 products you received a free makeup bag which is equivalent to £16.
The lipsticks contain Argan Oil to hydrate and condition the lips which means they are really nice to wear on the lips. The wear time on this is pretty average for a cream sheen finish, you're looking at about 2-3 hours without retouching. Personally, I don't find that bad and when it's teamed with a lip liner you can extend the wear by about an hour. The shades are also really nice, there's something for everyone and I definitely would by another one. My favourite product out of the two however has to be the Cream Eyeshadow Stick! It blends like a dream, is pigmented and is the nicest colour. I've been applying this straight from the bullet and then blending with my Zoeve Luxe Crease brush, i'll either leave it like this for a wash of colour or reach for my Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette.
This is definitely worth the price and I'll be picking up some more of these next time i'm in M&S!
