Elemis Skincare Essentials

Elemis Skincare Essentials
Elemis is a brand that i've only ever associated with Spas and older people. However I recently attended an event with Elemis and Hourglass Cosmetics at the John Lewis store in York and had an amazing facial using their products. It was that nice that I knew I had to buy some products to add to my skincare routine.
Firstly I thought id start at the beginning with a Cleanser, the Balancing Lime Basil Cleanser (£22.50) is really refreshing. It smells delicious - something you might not think of by the title but it's really fresh and clean. I use about 2 pumps, massage it into my dry face and then rinse off with a hot muslin cloth. If i've been wearing a lot of makeup i'll go back in and repeat this step. Next I move on to the Balancing Lavender Toner (£22.50) which again smells beautiful. I like using this as night as the smell is calming and soothing. I spray a few squirts on a cotton pad and press it into my skin. I can't say i've noticed that this does a great deal but I still like this step in my routine.
Finally I couldn't resist the smell of the Fruit Active Rejuvenating Mask (£30). It smells like strawberries and kiwis and a whole host of delicious fruits. I love that this mask doesn't dry hard on the skin which means it's nicer to remove. I use this once a week and definitely think my face is more plump and fresh looking once i've used this!
