Now that Autumn is well and truly upon us; scarves, coats and all things purpley can make an appearance - lipstick included. Boy am I happy about this, I've been waiting for Autumn winter since well last Autumn really. Personally, the shades just suit me much better. I'm pale with dark brown hair and I love nothing more then wearing a gold eye and a berry toned lip. I have 3 high end offerings for you today, two of which you might have seen in my High End Lipstick Collection.

My newest berry lipstick is from Nars Audacious range and it's Ingrid. I would say this is the darkest of the 3 lipsticks and definitely more show stopping for a night out. I on the other hand love wearing this anytime of the day, it's so easy to wear and long lasting. When I went to the Hull Bloggers meet I only re applied once and it didn't bleed or smudge at all. This isn't  matte or drying it's actually very creamy and nourishing.

Ah Mac Rebel, how I've missed you! Actually, that's a lie Rebel is the kind of lipstick were you can build it up so it's a bright, bold, berry shade or you can lightly apply it to achieve a light purpley wash of colour which means it isn't just an Autumn shade. Similarly to Ingrid Rebel is a Satin finish which means it's semi-matte finish with a nice sheen to it. Again, I find this rarely bleeds with or without a lip liner and is just as long lasting. If you've had your eye on this for a while but are scared that it's too much I urge you to go and try it out!

Finally, the most beautiful packaging belongs to Charlotte Tilbury's lipstick in Glastonberry. Part of the Matte Revolution range, Glastonberry is a beautiful deep berry shade that suits most skin tones. It's not drying yet nourishing and hydrating, it's long lasting without bleeding or needing a lip liner. It's just a beautiful lipstick, I love the shape of the lipstick in the bullet it makes it so easy to apply. This is more day time appropriate than Nars' offering but it's still the perfect night time shade too. Generally, this lipstick is an all rounder!

  1. So much yes! I'd also recommend MAC Diva and the Maybelline Creamy Matte Lipstick in Divine Wine.

    1. Eee, I bought Diva a few weeks back but I'd drafted this post around October! It's amazing isn't it, I've heard so much about Divine Wine x
