New Blog Layout

2015
Hello lovelies, just a quickie tonight. Seeing as it's 2015 in less than 5 hours, I thought i'd showcase my new blog design. I fancied a little change on my blog in the hope that it would encourage me to blog more (fingers crossed). Anyway, I saw the lovely Serena's website and feel in love with her designs. The whole process was super easy and i'm really happy with the outcome, it's something a bit 'busier' then my old design but I wanted something completely different.

I'm also looking for feedback so if you have any thoughts on the design or my blog in general, leave me a comment and i'll take it on board. All the best for 2015 and have a brilliant night tonight (especially if you're chilling in your pjs, watching Netflix like me and the other half)!

Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt || Review

Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt Perfume - 30 ml for £40

Today i'm talking about one of the most luxurious products i've ever owned, obviously it's boxing day so it's pretty clear this was a Christmas present. £40 for 30ml is pretty expensive but trust me it makes a bloody good present.

On the Jo Malone website, this is described as an escape to the windswept shore and that's exactly what it is. It is a completely unique scent and nothing like anything i've ever smelt before but it's so refreshing and sophisticated I knew it was the one for me. Whilst in the shop, the sales assistant suggested trying it mixed with another of the Jo Malone fragrances (hello, i'm not made of money ha) as this creates a 'personalised' scent so I tried it with Earl Grey & Cucumber scent and my god, it smelt delicious.

This is much more fresh and natural smelling then most of the floral and girlie scents I tend to go for but i'm happy with that because I like to try something different for the price. The warm woodiness of it makes it slightly more mature, again something I don't tend to go for but I really like. This lingers on the skin for so long meaning you definitely get your moneys worth and i'm pretty sure lots of people will be asking what perfume you're wearing when you've got this on!

I hope you've all had a lovely Christmas and enjoy the new year. I'm sorry this is my first blog post in months but being a teacher is pretty draining. I'm hoping to get a few posts drafted over the holidays so fingers crossed you'll be reading more of me in the new year!
