On Thursday 21st August, I was kindly invited by TK Maxx to attend the opening of their new Hull store. Luckily for me (not so much for my bank account) the new store is pretty much on my doorstep. I'm a big fan of TK Maxx, they have such great products at such fantastic prices so I knew i'd definitely be taking advantage of the opening event. My lovely friend Alex was also invited so we agreed to meet before hand.

When I arrived, Alex was inside but the queue was already huge half an hour before opening. TK Maxx had kindly offered £10 gift cards to the first 500 people through the doors and people definitely didn't want to miss out. I managed to miss the queue and was invited inside for a sneak peek. After having a quick chat with Evelyn about the brand and what it stands for; myself Alex and Anna had free reign of the shop (yeyyyy).

We took no time in taking a few snaps before browsing the shelves. Pretty quickly mine and Alex's (and her lovely mums) basket was filled, the accessories were such good quality and so cheap that we couldn't say no, you can see a snap of my purchases below. There's a great selection of brands and products available, all at such reasonable discounts. They had bags that were originally £100's reduced to £20 and £30, bargain!

My favourite section was definitely the beauty offerings and whilst I only picked up one thing this time, I guarantee i'll be back. We then moved on to home wear and i'm pretty sure we spent around 40 minutes searching for cute things for Alex's new house. By this time the doors had opened and the shop was pretty busy. People had baskets and trollies piled high with items and the tills and fitting rooms were completely jam packed, this wasn't a problem though as the friendly staff had it all under control.

My new white bag// a £135 purse reduced to £25// the cutest elephant print scarf// gorgeous sailor style pj bottoms// three nail polishes for £7.99 (bargain)!

I'm so happy with the bargains I picked up and I can honestly say i'll be popping back on a weekly basis. I love how quickly the stock changes so there's always something new to look at. However, i'd definitely advise you to buy something as soon as you see it because there is no guarantee it'll be there the day after.
