Makeup Revolution Sugar and Spice Blush and Contour Palette - £6
Is this not the most beautiful looking blush palette you've ever seen? Just look at those pretty shades and that huge mirror, swoon! I've tried a couple of Makeup Revolution products before and really liked them, their Romantic Smoked Eyeshadow Palette is a constant in my makeup bag. So when I saw they had realised some more new products I headed over to the website to have a look, the Sugar and Spice Blush and Contour Palette instantly caught my eye and here we are 5 days later.

Let's start with the basics, you get 8 shades all a pretty decent size too for just £6. There are 6 matt shades and two shimmers which are baked blushes, out of the 8 shades 2 of them are contour shades however I personally think they'd look great as blushes too. The 2 contour shades are both matt which is perfect as i'm really not a fan of shimmery bronzers. As you can see from the swatches, shade one is slightly more browny/pink than the second which is a much better contour shade for paler girls like myself. I think I would get more use of shade one as a blush and shade two as a contour. Shade three is a more shocking pink which really reminds me of Mac's Full Fuchsia and shade four is a beautiful white, pink and lilac blend but i'm not yet sure how id wear this.

Moving on to the bottom row, shade five is a reddy burgundy, similar to Mac's Fever which will be beautiful in Autumn Winter. Shade 6 is a darker version of shade 3 and very similar to Frankly Scarlett by Mac. Shade 7 is the least vibrant of all and is a more coral nude shade, id say this is quite similar to Bobbi Brown's Nude Pink blush. Finally shade 8 is another baked blush featuring a mix of pinks and silvers.

All the shades are highly pigmented and are very creamy. They are super blendable and last on the skin. For the price you really can't go wrong! Most of the shades look really bright and scary but if you use a little amount they are actually really wearable. My favourite shades are the 2nd one in for contouring and the 7th one for blush. I'd thoroughly recommend this palette to anyone, especially if you're going away as there's so many blushes in one palette!
