Makeup Revolution Romantic Smoked Palette -£4

Makeup Revolution are killing it with their palettes at the minute, for the price, the wear and quality of these shades is amazing. I reviewed the Sugar and Spice Contour and Blush Palette here and today I have an eyeshadow palette for you. Yes, it is another eyeshadow palette review for you, not that I needed one but for £4 how could I leave this one? The Romantic Smoked palette has 12 shades, 6 shimmers and 6 matte which is unlike any palettes I actually own as the majority of the ones I have only have a couple of mattes (i'm looking at you Urban Decay).

All of these shades are really pigmented which is a huge positive. Usually I find with cheaper palettes that the light shades are barely worth including as their pigmentation is really lacking. The shimmers are perfect as an all over colour on the base and the mattes are brilliant as crease colours. I find myself using the mattes in this palette everyday as they just work so well in the crease. The formula of these is really creamy which is pretty surprising but it makes the shadows last around 3/4 hours without a primer.

There are so many looks you can achieve with these shades ranging from a neutral eye, to a neutral smoky eye, to an everyday wearable bright with the pinky purple shade and the blue shade. My favourite look is definitely a neutral smoky eye but I have to admit I've been trying the brights a bit more which is way out of my comfort zone.

I definitely have my eye on a couple of the other palettes, particularly the 'What You Waiting For' one and i'm sure it wont be long before it's mine! If you're looking to make an order then this is definitely worth thinking about.
