Mac Patent Polish Lip Pencil in Spontaneous - £14.50
Another Mac product that has me hook, line and sinker. I have about 10 of these chubby lip stains from the drugstore but apart from the Clinique Chubby Sticks and the Nars Velvet Lip Pencils I haven't seen many offerings from the high end departments. So when I saw this lovely little lip product from Mac I instantly wanted to try it.

Most of the colours were sold out on Debenhams but Spontaneous really stood out to me. At £14.50 I think these are pretty reasonably priced (especially as I had my £5 reward voucher from Debenhams Beauty). The colour reminds me of Revlon's Matt Balm in Elusive
but a bit more nudey however due to its brilliant pigmentation it looks much brighter on the lips then it does in the swatch. It also has speckles of glitter running through making it look glossy on the lips whilst still being long lasting and hydrating.

Similar to the Revlon matte balms, you simply twist the bottom to get more product which is a really hygienic method I think. You get 2.3g worth of product which is slightly less then a lipstick but these are just so quick and easy to apply. I love throwing these in my handbag as i'm not worried about it breaking or cracking. They last for around a good 2/3 hours on the lips but I imagine the brighter shades will last a little longer or at least fade leaving a 'stain of colour' on the lips.

There are 12 shades to get altogether however all but one are sold out on the Mac website so definitely keep checking and pick one up when ever you can.
