My Graduation Makeup

Graduation Makeup Graduation Makeup Graduation Makeup Graduation Makeup

I've been looking forward to doing this post for so long now. When you're a beauty blogger or a makeup lover in general you get excited for special occasions just for the makeup (well I do anyway) so I knew id be excited for my graduation day. I went for quite a simple base, with a neutral blush, a copper/gold subtle eye and a matte pink lip. The makeup lasted all day which was perfect as there's no time for touch ups during the day!

For my base I started by applying my Origins Ginsing moisturiser all over my face and then dabbing my Mac powder over the top. This really helps the longevity of my makeup. I then used the Rimmel Stay Matte Primer over my tzone and added Benefit's Porefessional to minimise my pores. For my foundation I used Nars Sheer Glow, I love the coverage of this foundation because it literally covers everything but still gives you a nice, dewy glow without leaving you looking sweaty. It also stays put all day which is essential.
Then I move on to my brows which I filled in with the Elf eyebrow kit which is hands down my favourite brow product. I applied Benefit's Gimmie Brow over the top to keep them in place. Moving on to eyes, I used Mac's paint pot in Bare Study as a primer and a base. I decided on my Naked palette because I wanted a gold, coppery smokey eye. I used the shades half-baked over the lid, naked in the crease and smog in the outer corner. I love this palette and im so happy that the shades stayed in place all day! I added Hustle to the lower lashline and then added a touch of black eye liner to the corner of my water line. After curling my lashes I used a couple of coats of the Guerlain Maxi Lash mascara and my eyes were done.
Back to the base and I used the Maybelline Fit Me concealer under my eyes and brow bone and then concealed redness and blemishes with my Mac concealer. I did a very subtle contour using my Sleek Contour kit and added a natural colour blush to my cheeks using the Bourjois cream blusher in #01. For an extra highlight I added the No7 Instant Radiance stick to my cheekbone and brow bone. I love the finish of this, it's super blendable which gives it a really lovely, natural finish.
For lips I knew I wanted something matte and I was instantly drawn to the Revlon Matte Balm in Elusive as it's the perfect pink. It isn't to in your face but it's more obvious than a nude shade. It was such a good choice because it lasts so long and isn't drying in the slightest. I'm so happy with my makeup, I've added some pictures so you can see it slightly (I added a selfie, one with an instagram filter and one without eeek) and you can read all about the day itself here.
