Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Review

Today's post is a bit of a cheeky one. A few months ago I was asked by the lovely Monica to guest post on her blog, so I decided to review Liz Earle's Cleanse and Polish. Because I love it so much, i've decided to post it on my blog too for all those of you who don't follow MothLoves.
I'm a skincare addict, i'll admit it. I tried a skincare experiment a couple of months ago and although I loved the results I got from using a stripped back skincare regime, I can't resist a sneaky skin care purchase. So when some lovely ladies on Twitter told me that I could get the famous Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish for £9.50 I jumped at the chance.
I've heard so many good things about this and I wasn't disappointed. Firstly, lets talk about the scent. This reminds me of Vicks Vaporub, really menthol and refreshing. Initially, I was worried about this stinging my eyes but it was so smoothing and cooling. I use The Body Shop Camomile Cleanising Oil to remove my makeup and although I love that, it does sting slightly so this is a nice addition to use after it.
As the name suggests, there is two steps to this process. First up is the cleanse basically, you apply a couple of pumps to your dry face and neck and massage in circular motions, getting rid of all traces of makeup even eyeliner and waterproof mascara. Next up is the polish, this is where the 2 complimentary muslin cloths come in handy. Wet the muslin clothes with hand hot water and rinse off, I love the feel of this. It's kind of like a smooth exfoliation and leaves your skin feeling fresh and squeaky clean.
This is honestly one of my favourite cleansers already, it sounds crazy but my face just feels brand new after using this. I love the smell, the thickness and how easy and effective this is at taking off your makeup. For the price, this is definitely worth it and i'm pretty sure it's going to last a long time because you barely need any if you use a cleansing oil/micellar water to remove your makeup first.
What is your favourite cleanser?
